    English-Speaking Social Media Manager

    INTRODUCTION
    We are looking for a qualified English-speaking Social Media Manager to join our team in Montréal. If you are a self-driven creative and ambitious professional, we would love to meet you! We are expecting you to be experienced in social media and content creation. Ultimately, you should be able to act as the face and voice of our clients and manage all community communications.
    SOCIAL MEDIA
    • Support the Director of Digital and Influence Marketing in developing social media strategies: analysis, targets, social ecosystem, content, performance indicators, etc.
    • Develop editorial calendars: research, brainstorming, drafting and posting English content on social platforms (text, photos, short videos, images, etc.)
    • Ensure that the content is in line with objectives and consistent with the brand’s voice
    • Community management: initiate conversations and moderate exchanges with clients’ various social communities
    • Build relationships with consumers and generate engagement
    • Assist the team in identifying new influencers and implementing campaigns with them
    • Collaborate with the entire team to update content calendars based on client’s activities (press trip, events, etc.)
    • Ensure live animation of social platforms during our clients' events
    CONTENT CREATION
    • Identify types of content and topics that are likely to engage communities
    • Draft content creation briefs and coordinate production and delivery in collaboration with external partners
    • Ensure that the content respects each campaign's objectives, targets and tone
    • Suggest new approaches to content creation
    PERFORMANCE
    • Measure, assess and optimize content performance on the various social platforms
    • Assist the advertising campaign manager in setting up, optimizing and assessing the performance of clients' campaigns
    • Help produce performance reports
    • Stay on top of new social media trends and digital analysis tools



    PROFILE
    • Minimum of three (3) years' experience in social media management
    • Excellent knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.)
    • Fluent in English (oral and written) and ability to write short, dynamic messages for all social platforms
    • Autonomous, creative and dynamic
    • Strong organizational skills, proactive and rigorous
    • Excellent sense of initiative and solution-oriented attitude
    • Flexible and ability to manage stress
    • Proficiency in Photoshop and/or Canva, an asset
    JOB REQUIREMENTS
    • Bachelor degree in Communications, Marketing or any related field
    • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
    • Good French verbal and written communication skills
    • Proficiency in social media management and monitoring tools (Hootsuite / Sprout Social / Facebook Business Manager, etc.)
    • Available for occasional travel outside Quebec and for live coverage of events held in the evening
    • Proficiency in digital analysis tools such as Google Analytics (an asset)
    • Strong computer skills, including the Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
