    Riding high on the success of the 1st study on FoodTech in France, published in 2017, DigitalFoodLab and its partners Sopexa, Vitagora, Eutopia and the Paris Île-de-France Chamber of Commerce and Industry unveil the conclusions of the 1st study on FoodTech in Europe.

    With nearly one start-up founded every day in Europe, FoodTech is today a driver of innovation in the food and drinks sector and an opportunity for Europe.

    Yet how influential is European FoodTech worldwide? Who are the investors, and what categories are booming? What countries are leading the way?

    Presented during a sneak preview session on 22 October 2018 at the SIAL exhibition, this report offers a previously unseen map of European investment in FoodTech.

     

     

    The study is based on an analysis of over 1,360 FoodTech start-ups founded since 2014 throughout Europe. It was written by DigitalFoodLab along with its partners Sopexa, Vitagora, Eutopia and the Paris Île-de-France Chamber of Commerce and Industry, who were chosen for their expertise and their shared desire to better understand the FoodTech phenomenon, in order to more effectively assist companies in this sector.
