    Rueda DO wines choose Sopexa as their Influencer marketing agency in Japan

    Following a selection process, the Rueda PDO Wines Regulatory Council has chosen Sopexa to design and orchestrate an influence strategy to make a name for its products on the Japanese market, where there is overall strong awareness of Spanish wines.

     

    Sopexa will assist Rueda wines through an awareness and training campaign focusing on wine-sector professionals including sommeliers, buyers, importers and distributors.

     

     

     

    A press relations drive geared towards media specialised in wines & spirits, foodservice and distribution will also help boost the designation’s top-of-mind amongst B-to-B targets. It will include press trips and events at Tokyo’s top 10 Spanish eateries, which will serve as ambassadors of Rueda wines for the occasion.

     

    Created in January 1980, the DOP Rueda is the 1st Appellation of Origin in Castilla y Léon. DO Rueda is specialized in the production of high quality white wines, protecting and promoting its autochthonous and key variety, the Verdejo grape. Rueda wines are characterized by their freshness and vibrant touch.
