This campaign, awarded to Sopexa following a call for tenders, focuses on PDO and PGI[2] wines made using the Grenache[3] grape variety, 98% of which is grown in Europe, and more specifically the wines of Roussillon and five Spanish designations.
This joint campaign, which will continue until the end of 2019, meets a twofold aim: to familiarise North American professionals and consumers with the European range of Grenache wines, while offering promotional support for winemakers and brands in stores. It also aims to raise awareness of European quality labels.
The agency will orchestrate a multi-channel programme including an online and print media strategy, a partnership with e-commerce sites, a press relations campaign, events dedicated to professionals and, finally, showcasing of the designations at events and festivals for the general public.
